Dramatic regression on sage-7.1.rc1
sage: a = QQbar(2).sqrt()
sage: RIF(a)
Traceback (most recent call last):
...
TypeError: unable to convert 1.4142135623730950488? to real interval
This used to work (at least in sage-6.8). Though the following is working
sage: a.exactify()
sage: RIF(a)
1.414213562373095?
I opened the blocker ticket #20209 for this. Not sure where it comes
from. I will work on this tomorrow (if it is still open :-)
