You didn't even try to reproduce it.  "Is there any way to disable this
fancy new
syntax-highlight-as-you-type-ninja command line interface to **Sage**".

Can you try again?  Instead of typing "ipython", type "sage".   In case you
have a special version setup, type "sage-7.5".
