I also noticed this to become more frequent.
What can we do against this? (Using 3 or less parallel threads is kind
of a workaround, but not "the solution".)
1) For example, could we simply retry a doctest if it times out? (...and
report some kind of warning only, not an error.)
2) Could we simply increase the timeout time? (...or does this not help,
as some process has died etc.?)
3) Is it realistic to find the underlying bug and fix it?

Thoughts? Implementations of 1?
