Indeed that was it!!
Following your suggestion in
https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!topic/sage-devel/2cdsAGTxYm8 I edited
the file inixccompiler.py
and replaced at the end of the definition
def runtime_library_dir_option(self, dir):
...
else:
return "-Wl,-R" + dir
the "-R" with "-Wl,-R" and continued "make".
Sage build was complete! I ran Sage with all new features now.
