I love the idea! I took it one step further and quickly hacked together a Sage worksheet -- although it is basically just Python -- that replaces each triangle with a picture:
* Example: http://folk.uio.no/georgmu/ChristmasCard.png * HTML: http://folk.uio.no/georgmu/SierpinskiChristmasCard.html * Sage Worksheet: http://folk.uio.no/georgmu/SierpinskiChristmasCard.sws The script creates a Sierpinski triangle of any picture of ratio [1:sqrt(3)/2]. If you only want it to look good for a small number of iterations, the picture should be given as a triangle. It might be nice to apply the script to the Sage logo, for instance. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sage-edu" group.
