For reasons it's best not to go into, they were written using non-standard LaTeX packages and some were written in a hurry and have some Really Sloppy Mistakes. It's my goal to move them to Beamer and fix the mistakes sometime. If anyone's willing to take on this Herculean task (each slide is its own file, and as I said some of the LaTeX is non-standard) and do that work themselves, let me know. I'd be *very* happy to see this develop, rather than languish the way it's doing right now. To be honest, my original goal was to have a kind of interactive web page, but I couldn't figure out how to do that (I know the notebook should be able to do it, but it didn't satisfy me for some reason--for example, I think I'd like to use frames somehow). regards john perry
