Hello List, first of all I'd like to introduce our project. We founded by mid of last year a project called "Frog and Owl", which stands for OS independent OpenSource Software and open content. We try to compensate the lack of other Education projects, what means we will only collect software and tell professors, teachers, students, pupils and parents what kind of software is on the open market and how hard it is to learn to use it. The Second hand of "Frog and Owl" handles with open content, what means, we collect the content and offer a place to share it, as we are involving professors and teachers in our project, these papers will be there for everyone without the need of paying a lot for it.
The reason I start writing here is, that I find sage math a nice and easy usable but also mighty tool for the math sector and I would like to link to it, as I already told Mr. Stein, perhaps a back-linking would be possible. The second hand is, as here is an education section for sage, we would be proud to get some nice stuff from sage users, as we offer a unique place for collecting and sharing the worksheets/papers with other students. So if you like to get more information over our project or if you have some materials that might be usable for us, feel free to contact me via mail or as a response to this ML-post, or at least visit us in irc on freenode.net in #frogandowl Greetings -- --- Martin 'golodhrim' Scholz Auf dem Sattler 4 34516 Ederbringhausen Phone: +49 6454 799623 mobile: +49 176 63301749 Fax: +49 6454 e-Mail: [email protected] Chemist who falls in acid is absorbed in work. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sage-edu" group.
