Hi Sage-devel and Sage-edu,
I was wondering if we have any numbers on how much Sage is used outside
university mathematics, i.e,
- education outside universities (e.g. secondary schools)
- education outside mathematics (e.g. physics, engineering, ...)
- academic research outside mathematics
- private companies
Such numbers could help Sage developers motivate their involvement with
Sage to grant committees and employers.
Sorry if this has been asked before. On the web page and mailing lists,
I could only find numbers of downloads and numbers of web page visits,
and a few individual examples. Does this mean we have no such numbers?
