To Michael: please keep up the good work on Solaris ! the administrator in my university didn't manage to install SAGE properly on our Solaris machine (it cannot talk to GAP, for some reason) and he is not willing to tweak the makefiles. It would be fantastic if we had a SAGE working out of the box on Solaris one day.
