The Sage App on iphone/ipad that I want to build:
Idea 1: Sage app should be an app for individuals to use and
share their work in the community. People can create functions easily and
see the result graciously displayed on the small screen. It is able to copy
a platform from history.
Idea 2: Sage app can be used in groups. For school use, for
instance, teachers should be able to create a group, inviting or deleting
students from the group, posting functions in the group.
I downloaded the sage app on my iphone and here are some improvements we
can make to achieve ideal 1:
We can add two menus: individual menu and community menu:
1. For individual menu:
a. Adding new file /deleting file /naming file functions, save button
or auto-save function, platform save button
b. One directory that saves the platforms
c. History tab: remember everything that you typed before
d. Share button to share the file/platform
2. For Community menu:
a. Search button to search similar
b. Copy button to copy the platform
c. Save button to save the platform
3. Interface improvement:
a. Nice-looking text-editing window
b. The graph window will be able to auto-fit the phone screen
c. Ability for graph to zoom in and out
Improvements to achieve idea 2:
Extends improvement for Idea 1 plus:
For community menu:
d. Function to create groups, inviting/deleting people.
e. Share/delete files in selected group(s)
