Can you give more information about your background? Projects you are /
were involved with? Which programming languages you are familiar with?
Which maths courses have you taken?

that you can share with us?

Since the application deadline is approaching, you should try to come
up with a proposal first. You can work on a small coding exercise
during the evaluation period.

Did you look at the articles mentioned in the project description? Can
you follow what they are trying to do roughly? What main steps do you
think are needed to implement the algorithms mentioned there?
