Hi, I am Kanchana Ruwanpathirana from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I am interested in getting involved in "Implementing Quantum Cluster Algebra" project from Sage.
This is my first time in GSoC and and I decided to try this project as I am interested in mathematics related projects. I have a decent mathematics background, and I have participated in International Mathematics Olympiad in 2012 and International Mathematics Competition in 2016 and was able to get a Bronze medal at IMC. I have started going through the paper, QUANTUM CLUSTER ALGEBRAS by ARKADY BERENSTEIN AND ANDREI ZELEVINSKY to get an idea of Quantum Cluster Algebra. I would like to have opportunity to contribute to this project. I would like to request of the guidelines that should be followed an if possible recommendation on the resources I can use to study the required content. Furthermore, would it be possible to get an idea of the expected deliverable and the level of intensity at this stage so as to get a clear idea of the project. Thank you in advance.
