I've added a check to my merge script pretty early on that the author and reviewer are set, but one or two might have fallen through the crack.
Just closed (but not merged) tickets don't necessarily have an author, of course (arguably they should, but if you can't be bothered to fill it in then I'm not going to do it for you as its not going to show up in the git history).
