I checked the log files and the first time this happened was on 6 March, just after the upgrade to 6.6.beta3. I suspect it is caused by the PARI upgrade (Trac #16997), since that ticket was merged in 6.6.beta3 and the hanging process is gp (running Dokchitser's L-series calculator).
