OK, thanks. I've therefore opened a ticket for this: http://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/19374 I've set it as 'blocker' because IMHO it would be a big regression to loose the LaTeX display in Jupyter notebooks. I don't know how to fix it but I am ready to help on this ticket if some expert indicates some direction.
