I got the same message... I don't know how to inform sage-support with a
ticket maybe some involved will see if it worth doing it ?

I *think* I have a clue. On the Ubuntu 15.04 small machine I reported
about : a new sheet created in my home directory *can* use %display
latex ; when created in some subdirectory, I get the same error
message. Big fat clue : the message box is titled "Failed to retrieve
MathJax from '../nbextensions/mathjax/MathJax.js'". This relative path
is highly suspicious...
We should move this to sage-support or to a Trac ticket. Hints on how
to write it ?

Git compiled on 14.04, 8 cores AMD, 16 Go RAM, runing from ./sage
-n=ipython in a terminal : latex works. Runing from system wide
(/usr/share/sage) after moving tree, mathjax doesn't work.
Normal sage -n works from both run.
A detail if I use a worksheet I made before version, I got this
problem, if I do a new worksheet it seems to work with latex.
Fresh ubuntu installation...
Is it same ?

Also builds and passes ptestlong on a small Ubuntu (15.04)
notebook (4 Gb RAM).
One curiosity : invoking first as sage -n jupyter gave me a
notebook without access to mathjax. Invoking sage --notebook
ipython wrked. And (this is annoying...) re-invoking sage -n
jupyter gave me a notebook with a working mathjax.
Any ideas ?

FWIW, builds and passes ptestlong on Debian testing on Core

$SAGE_ROOT/local/lib/libtinfo* out of the way.
