Interesting.  I just went through this, to download the 8.4.rc1 and 8.3 dmg’s 
for macOS (downloaded sequentially).

Both downloads quit at the same point (1.09 GB).  I restarted the downloads, 
which then completed w/o problems.  The MD5 checksums listed on the website 
matched those on my disk!

I used UW as the source for the downloads…Is there a limit imposed by the 
server (files.sagemath.org/osx/intel/sage….)?
