You're right. So why didn't I get the compilation log ?

I can do that but as a very temporary measure: removing libffi-dev break 
other parts of my system :

Remv libglib2.0-dev [2.62.4-1+b1]
Remv libffi-dev [3.3-3]

I suippose I have to do the whole cycle (distclean ; configure ; make) 
again... Stay tuned.
