Regarding pytest, you probably have it installed system-wide but not for Sage. Sage built from source by default does not have pytest: ``` $ sage --python -m pytest .../local/bin/python3: No module named pytest ``` To install pytest for a Sage installation: ``` $ sage --pip install pytest Collecting pytest Downloading pytest-6.2.4-py3-none-any.whl (280 kB) ... Requirement already satisfied: py>=1.8.2 in /opt/s/sage9a/local/lib/python3.9/site-packages (from pytest) (1.10.0) Requirement already satisfied: packaging in /opt/s/sage9a/local/lib/python3.9/site-packages (from pytest) (20.9) Requirement already satisfied: toml in /opt/s/sage9a/local/lib/python3.9/site-packages (from pytest) (0.10.2) Collecting iniconfig Downloading iniconfig-1.1.1-py2.py3-none-any.whl (5.0 kB) Requirement already satisfied: attrs>=19.2.0 in /opt/s/sage9a/local/lib/python3.9/site-packages (from pytest) (19.3.0) Requirement already satisfied: pluggy<1.0.0a1,>=0.12 in /opt/s/sage9a/local/lib/python3.9/site-packages (from pytest) (0.13.1) Requirement already satisfied: pyparsing>=2.0.2 in /opt/s/sage9a/local/lib/python3.9/site-packages (from packaging->pytest) (2.4.7) Installing collected packages: iniconfig, pytest Successfully installed iniconfig-1.1.1 pytest-6.2.4 ``` Then we get: ``` $ sage --python -m pytest --version pytest 6.2.4 ``` -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sage-release" group.
