With a Python 3.8.10 installed as a system python, I get a persistent doctest failure (Linux Mint 20.2 uma):

Running doctests with ID 2022-05-29-17-41-28-c07c4f34.
Using --optional=ccache,debian,pip,sage,sage_spkg

Doctesting 1 file.
