Stein, The SAGE public servers are blocked at SSCC. I emailed the people who run all of the community college networks, but I have no clue what to do now. Could you please make a bunch of open ports that are aliases of the two public servers and maybe a url rewrite using sage.math.washington.edu/sage? I've tried to use web-based anonymizers but the one that brought up the notebooks messed up being able to unlock a worksheet.
You could also create a CGI script that pulls the Notebooks and sends them my way. AH THIS IS SO ANNOYING!
