In the install doc for 2.4 it was mentioned that a Cygwin install for windows was being developed, but it's not mentioned in the 2.5 doc. I'm curious about relative performance of the two. On my windows PC the VM module is painfully slow when running the Notebook, but I only have 1G so VMware only gets 512K. On a slower Linux PC I have one of the sample images from the wiki rendering in just over 80 secs., but it takes ~350 secs. under VM. Just curious if Cygwin would offer any improvement when in windows...Dave
