I should have responded on sage-support:
4) Select to run it with "Terminal":
Choose Applications, then select "All Applications" in the
"Enable:" drop down. Change the "Applications" drop down
to "Utilities". On the left, scroll and select "Terminal".
Click "Open", then in the next dialog select "Update".
Alternatively, if you find this really confusing, get this file:
http://sagemath.org/incoming/sageapp.tar.bz2
Double click to extract it and drag the icon (the .app) to your
/Applications directory. Then it works like a normal mac app;
you double click on it and your web browser will start up with
SAGE running -- note that the very first startup may take
a little while. I haven't officially posted this latter program
because it hasn't been put in a .dmg.

No problem. Just follow the rest of the instructions:
