I'm a relative Sage newbie, but have used GAP and Maxima as well as Mathematica extensively.
Can someone tell me how to take an implicitly defined equation such as x*sin(y)=y and return its implicit derivative with respect to x, regarding y as a function of x? That is, I'd like to see something like sin(y) + x*cos(y)*y' = y' --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
