I've seen this problem also.... but it happens only on my hardy 64
laptop... but not my hardy 64 server, or any of my gutsy boxes (64 and
32) and has been the case for every alpha, rc, and final release since
I've been around... a couplea months I guess...

mabshoff is aware of this and we've discussed it a few times...
something tricky but I think he has a handle on it... and it doesn't
happen all that often....
