The problem is that you don't have the fullpage.sty
installed. You must have installed the minimum possible
latex system with no packages or something.
Doing a google search for
fullpage.sty ubuntu
yields the sentence
"fullpage.sty is in the tetex-extra package, so use Synaptic to
install it, or install from the terminal:
$ sudo apt-get install tetex-extra"
