I'm running a PPC Mac on Mac OS 10.5. I downloaded the binary for sage
for my operating system and copied the appropriate folder as directed,
but when I attempt to start sage I get an error message as follows:

/Applications/Math\ and\ Science/sage/sage ; exit;
D-69-91-149-76:~ Kris$ /Applications/Math\ and\ Science/sage/sage ;
exit;
Error setting environment variables by running /Applications/Math and
Science/sage/local/bin/sage-env; possibly contact sage-devel (see
http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel).
cat: /bin/sage-banner: No such file or directory
env: sage.bin: No such file or directory
mkdir: : No such file or directory

sage-cleaner: command not found
/Applications/Math and Science/sage/local/bin/sage-sage: line 216:

logout

[Process completed]

There's nothing else I can do and I don't really see what to do from
here. Thanks for any help.
