Yep, that is the problem. We are tracking this at
http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/3529 and I will fix the
issue in 3.0.4.alpha2. Since the linbox upgrade broke 3.0.4.alpha1
across the board that alpha2 will happen this Saturday.
