OK, I just mostly finished doing this on my laptop. Here are the steps I took. 1. Download the Sage vmware machine from http://www.sagemath.org/bin/microsoft_windows/ 2. Extract the zip file. 3. Start the vmware machine 4. login: manage; then sudo su 5. sage -upgrade (wait < 2 hours) 6. cd /usr/local/sage/spkg/standard; shrink *.spkg 7. vmshrink 8. Hit control-d twice and type "off". 9. Startup the vm machine again and test it in notebook mode (I actually cleaned up the same worksheets a little). 10. Modify the INSTRUCTIONS.txt in the sage-vmware-3.0.3 directory to sage 3.0.5. 11. Move the sage-vmware-3.0.3 directory to sage-vmware-3.0.5 and modify the dozip script. 12. Type ./dozip to make the zip archive of sage-vmware. 13. Upload the resulting zip file. If I'm able to upload the zip file before I leave for Europe, then it'll appear on the sagemath.org website. Otherwise, unfortunately it will have to wait. -- William --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
