Hi, I've been using Python for many years and recently installed Sage on my MacBook Pro running OS X. So far I'm liking it quite a bit.
What is the best way to add support for a package not included in Sage? I'm currently using a serial link (later to be Ethernet) to send packets from the Mac to an embedded data acquisition system. If I can access the objects that depend on PySerial then I can integrate my experiments and data visualization directly. Is simply using disutils and setup.py from the proper directory the way to install PySerial? Thanks, Kenny --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
