Yeah, building the Swing extension of Quantlib is painful.

Well, the official answer is: No, this is not supported and a bad idea
in general.
*But*: in this particular case copying over the needed bits might be
possible. If it blows up in some way and Sage breaks you get to keep
the pieces :)
In general as long as the Python C API doesn't change [which is the
case from Sage 3.0 to 3.2.3] if you know what you are doing and have
no other dependencies that changed it can be done.
Out of curiosity: How long did it take? It seems like one can always
start the install before going away/to bed/etc.
