The sage 3.4 Linux x86_64 binaries have acquired a new sage-flags.txt, sse4_1.
I used: sage-3.2.3-debian-64bit-intel_xeon-x86_64-Linux.tar.gz which works perfectly on an intel xeon 5160 but the update to 3.4 gives me the warning flag when starting sage. I think this processor was released in June 2006. Is it already out of date? Or is there something wrong with my setup. cat /proc/cpuinfo: processor : 3 vendor_id : GenuineIntel cpu family : 6 model : 15 model name : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU 5160 @ 3.00GHz stepping : 6 cpu MHz : 3000.005 cache size : 4096 KB physical id : 3 siblings : 2 core id : 7 cpu cores : 2 fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid level : 10 wp : yes flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 clflush dts acpi mmx fxsr sse sse2 ss ht tm syscall lm pni monitor ds_cpl est tm2 cx16 xtpr lahf_lm bogomips : 6000.03 clflush size : 64 cache_alignment : 64 address sizes : 36 bits physical, 48 bits virtual power management: --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
