Hello. I am using an intel celeron with ubuntu (specifically, wubi) and I am trying to install sage. I have downloaded sage-3.4-linux-Ubuntu_8.10-i686-Linux.tar.gz and extracted it with the archive manager. Here are some of the error messages when I ran make (actually, the second time I did that)
/bin/ls: cannot access bzip2-*-install: No such file or directory /bin/ls: cannot access dir-*-install: No such file or directory /bin/ls: cannot access prereq-*-install: No such file or directory And when I ran ./sage, I got /usr/bin/env: sage.bin: No such file or directory What did I do wrong? Did I download a wrong version or did I miss something when I installed it? Thank you very much.
