In ubuntu
sage: t,s=var('t,s')
sage: show(laplace(exp(-3*t),t,s))
works. It opens kdvi. However, I do get this gobble-de-gook in the
terminal as well:
kfmclient(4002) ClientApp::doIt: Creating ClientApp
<unknown program name>(4004)/ ClientApp::doIt: Creating ClientApp
kioclient(4004) ClientApp::kde_open:
KUrl("file:///home/wdj/.sage/temp/hera/18648/sage_viewer_1/sage.dvi")
kioclient(4004) KRunMX1::expandEscapedMacro: -miniicon isn't supported
anymore (service "KDVI" )
