I'm not sure what "false-friend" means here.  "Appreciated" is an
adjective in this sentence: it's the past-participle form of
"appreciate" (and so is like "apréciée", I think).  Past participles
can be used as adjectives.

Yes, the same way you can say "I will be happy" or "The cat will be
purple": "appreciated", "happy", and "purple" are all adjectives.

However, I can't condone the original poster's use of "Tanks!" at the
