No it is just a naming (intel-architecture 32bit). I use gcc 4.2.2
32bit on SUSE linux 64bit on a AMD Opteron x86_64 workstation,
I also tried sage-4.1.1 and sage-4.0.2 and they can configure and
compile mpir but fail at the link stage then.
Is it maybe that mix that causes troubles.
