This is in the guest OS ? I see in the XP taskbar (??) some icons, one of which 
shows enable vt-x/amd-v enabled, but I can't see how I could disable it even if 
I wanted to.

But I believe XP is only seeing one CPU - at least my chess software was, but I 
guess I should look at what Windows think, rather than one bit of application 
software.
