sage: F = a*z + i*b*z^2

Now F.norm() or something should give me (a*z)^2 + (b*z^2)^2, but I
can't find a command to do that.
I want to do this when F is a polynomial of degree 6 with complex
rational coefficients to eliminate i and produce
a polynomial of degree 12 with rational coefficients.
