Yes, I'm using version 3.0.5 from the apt repository.  Thanks for
pointing that out.

It was working only a couple of weeks ago, but I assume that I've
updated my python install since then.

I'm not sure what you mean by "system-wide" though.  Could you explain
what exactly that means?
