No. Sage uses python 2.6, and will for at least the next year.
On the other hand, Python 3 is over 95% the same as Python 2.6, so
learning Python from a text based on Python 3 is not that big of a deal.

Or the python3 version, which apparently is a huge rewrite of the
reference listed above (so it may be better to learn from the python3
version, even if you are using python 2.6).
