Hi there, I'm a newbie Sage user and my question is related to using its notebook interface in a more convenient ipython-like way in my single machine (be it a laptop or desktop), if possible. What I mean, explicitly, for example, is being able to type:
cd ~orca/research and being able to change to my research directory under my account. This works under the command line prompt of Sage (before launching the notebook) interface and I wonder whether it would be possible under the notebook as well. Another example was trying to use the ls shell command: ls I tried !ls and $ls, without success...
