Hello !

> Have you tried using the default polynomials in Sage (which use libsingular)?

Actually not. It felt natural to wonder which existing tools to
manipulate polynomials efficiently were already available, but my
problem is very specific as I am only interested in one coefficient,
of a very special polynomial. As it seems libsingular can handle these
computations efficiently (I had read its name several times, without
knowing what exactly it was), I will now begin to study how it works
and try several things... With a bit of luck it will be so efficient
that I wouldn't even be able to beat it on my special instance :-)

Thank you veeeeeeeeeeery much for your help ! :-)
