Hello,

I wish to define some variables thus:

sage: x, y, lambda = var('x,y,lambda')

but sage says:

   File "<ipython console>", line 1
     x, y, lambda = var('x,y,lambda')
                  ^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

Is this because the last symbol consists of more than one character?
I'm using sage 4.6, compiled from source on T2 linux.

Thanks,
Roger
