Sure. I just wanted to avoid that the OP misunderstands your comment,
because apparently he thought that M[1,3] is not Python, as he wrote:
"I was hoping I wouldn't need to make that many changes to the python
code, but this [namely "A[1,1]=5"] would seem to indicate Sage and
Python aren't 1-to-1."
