In my personal experience, I have been using Sage for more than a year. I run it on Debian in VirtualBox on Windows XP, and there have not been any problems with my setup. If reducing or eliminating downtime is a high priority, I suggest setting up a second, redundant machine, in case the primary machine experiences problems. > Install a linux distribution designed for long-term stability like > RHEL/Scientific Linux or Debian. +1 for installing directly on bare hardware. -- Kelvin -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support URL: http://www.sagemath.org
