Dear Ivo,

Just a followup - is this a README in the top level of the dmg, but
NOT in the Sage folder? (In 4.6.2, not the 4.7 alpha series, there is
also a file sage-README-osx.txt, which has since - finally - been
removed and put where it belongs; this is the same file, but should
only be visible to users in a dmg.)

If you look at the top level directory, you'll just see a normal
README, which will tell you to do

./sage

in the command line from the directory. You can do this for now if
you want.

What happened is that we really updated the instructions for the Mac
app bundle, but left the instructions for the regular version (which
also appears in this file since we package as a dmg) a little more
unclear. Doug McNeill is working on a better-worded version of
this, and will likely reply here. Thank you again.
