Meanwhile I did, and installing the package was no problem at all. I simply downloaded stein-watkins-ecdb.spkg into some directory, went to that directory and said "sage -i stein-watkins-ecdb.spkg". It took a while to untar the package, but in the end it was Successfully installed stein-watkins-ecdb Now cleaning up tmp files. Making Sage/Python scripts relocatable... Making script relocatable Finished installing stein-watkins-ecdb.spkg One thing irritates me, though: It is recommended by README.txt to remove $SAGE_ROOT/spkg/build/stein-watkins-ecdb after installation. I was not able to find that directory. For the record: This is with sage-4.7.alpha5 and on Debian GNU/Linux Cheers, Simon -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support URL: http://www.sagemath.org
