Hi Simon, I can understand your frustration and I can unfortunately not help you with sagenb. I can offer one option though: download sage yourself. (VM or on your linux/unix machine if you have one)
This would enable you to perform your own backups and maintenance and would make you independent of sagenb troubles.. I also find that my own install is faster and more responsive than sagenb.
