Wow, thanks for all the help!
I am in *total* agreement that nothing should be changed for my use of
Dropbox. I'll try the suggestions which seem quite sane .. and I really
don't want to rock the boat! And its great that the data will get published
to the sagenb.org account as well as the worksheets.
Let me get a bit more experience with this project and I'll get back to you
if after doing the book's first couple of examples there are difficulties.
The reason I'm looking at this book and a few others is that the Open Data
initiatives are doing quite well and I'm proposing to one of them that we
use Sage to publish our work (currently analyzing the NM state's claims of
voter fraud).
I'm really enjoying Sage and after fussing around trying to get Python,
Numpy, Matplotlib, Scipy etc that is used by the machine learning book, I
gotta say that the author would do well to consider Sage for his next
version of the book, and indeed this is why I abandoned the book's approach
in favor of Sage. Python the language is abs-fab, but Python sys admin is
less that lovely.
