Thanks for the confirmation, Maarten! Using my brain is not an option as it has very limited capacities when it comes to units... As you point out, addition or subtraction of different units should raise an error. I forwarded this to sage-devel here: http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel/browse_thread/thread/81884a53ab28212. Hope that someone knows an easy way how to fix it.
